I know its been some time but, we're in the finalizing stages of compiling the ReLeak Pt. 1. The team and I are spending as much time as possible trying to make this thing sound as good as possible. Though there are a lot of dubs over different beats, I hope you'll enjoy what it is I've done with them. The artwork was done by my homie, Anthony Lam. Great job on the front brother... Looks bananas. Shout outs to B, and Preston.

As posted by the promo poster, the project had been scheduled to be released this month, both fortunate and unfortunate events have caused myself to rethink the project in its entirety, and release The Re-Leak as two seperate Projects. With this sudden change in events the team has decided to release the project in September. Billy's in the studio putting on the last finishing touches on MC Prolifik's album, the moment that has reached its completion stage, then it's Re-Leak production.

To further explain it would require to me be on here a little too long, but this aint a letter its a blog... haha, I can simply say, that the ReLeak will be broken into Parts 1 & 2. Part 1 being called, "Hello World" and Part 2 being called "Lust & Fame in Harmony". Hello World will be a lyrical project, where as LFH will be a melodic compilation of R&B and Hip Hop. Like Jay says, "Imma-Imma take my time with this one!" (haha). I think the sudden change will definitely make the project all the more interesting and supply you two sides of my introduction and my buddy's story. Shout outs to Billy and Blake for their input and helping me in this decision process.

Hello World will be released before LFH, but both project will be released in the same month respectively. Be Patient, we got it coming! (haha) Thanks for all the support and love.

Zelda, as many would think of it is in reference to the Video, with the elf and the whole nine... haha. My take on Zelda on this track is, I'm in search of a new Hope. Just me being real and letting you in on some thoughts and outlooks I have on myself and the game.

A new outlook, a new day, a new year. I know I haven't been the best as a son or a brother, all I can do is hope for a change in myself, and to see that change happen, I gotta change my mind frame. I don't blame it on the weed or the liquor, I blame it on my conscious and my weakness to succumb to every vice so easily. With this new year, I hope to grow as a man, an artist, a brother, and a son. This road I've lead until now has seen me do some bizarre things, but I'm on my grind now... Looking at the past will only fuel me to do better for the future. As I re-commence work on the Re-Leak, I'm putting all my emotions and feelings I have today and every other day that proceeds into that project. It'll be a project I hope you enjoy, and can accept as a piece of work with varied emotions.

I managed to have a great time out here, and as my days out here wind down for the week, the potential of my return here looks quite high. I think I've found my second Van-City, only difference this place has family.... Feeling like the Olive Garden Restaurant.

"When you're here, you're family" type of feeling.... Haha!

As a sacrifice of a good time, I've made this move to get refocused on attaining my degree and GRADUATING! Its about time to get my mind right. I foreshadow a hiatus from rap after the Re-Leak is done, but I will still be doing features no doubt, but I'll save work on "The Entrance" until Summer 2010.

On any regard, we'll keep it moving. This is Day 1 of the month of "The Re-Leak", I spoke to Billy just the other day, and we're looking on tackling this thing after a much needed night of celebration. The Boy Soph turns 21 soon! Haha... I feel like this will be a good year, a year for change and good music. Enough of that though, Its coming... August '09.

The fun part about the summer is the initial allergy season that comes before it.
I just so happened to be a victim of this little epidemic. The swine flu issue out here seems to have simmered down, but my allergies certainly haven't (haha... sniffle).

Just thought I'd give y'all an update before we enter the next month, TheLeak2 is still under works, but I put that off until I get cured completely, its sounding all right. We'll see how the finished product comes out. On that note, my homies from Y E (Young Electrik) are releasing their EP in the next week. Preston P put me on about that, you can download it here, WDIR, or Facebook.
I'm looking forward to bumping that "Twilight" joint, haha!!

With the release of Universal Flux, I've heard some good things about the single... so I feel confident y'all will like the record. Its 95% Done. Santo Angelo, Preston, and myself have been putting in some time in the lab compiling each track. I'd like to think of the record as more of an album than a mixtape but y'all can be the judge of that.

The mixtape is undergoing the mixing process currently. The big homie Preston Empire (of Young Electrik) is in the studio putting the finishing touches to each track. There's still one more song to record, but that'll conclude the recording process of the mixtape. As the release date creeps closer, I'll keep you posted. As it stands we got roughly a week left until the release... or we're aiming at that.

On a side note,

One of my initial acts (back when I was "Divine Intellect"), my man Flash (AKA Gizmo AKA Santana BKA Richie Guzman) is releasing a mixtape this Friday. He has plans to release three; the first being a comical project, the second focusing on his lyrical material (I make an appearance on that), and finally, his third would be his acoustic guitar project. I must say I'm looking forward to it. Dude is really talented.

Its definitely been a while since I've gotten the chance to inform people on the progress of "Meet His Students".

Until the official release of the "Meet His Student" as an internet mixtape, I'll be keeping you posted on the progress of the project.
